Your Second Visit to Our Herndon Practice

On your second visit, a new patient can expect to be greeted warmly once again.  You will then be taken back to a pleasant, quiet lobby area and given some educational material to read.  That way, you can better understand the doctor's report of your findings. Your second visit will probably take about a half an hour.  Once you have read the material, which should take about five minutes, you will be taken back to the doctor's office.  The doctor will clearly explain his findings, go over any tests results or x-rays if performed, let you know if he can help you and then recommend a treatment plan.

Once you understand the doctor's findings and the treatment plan, the doctor will take you into a therapy room where your therapy will begin.  Usually it will be intersegmental traction with moist heat.  Our patients say therapy feels wonderful and wish they could take our equipment home with them!  You will then go back into the doctor's office after the therapy where he will explain what he is going to do and you will receive your first chiropractic adjustment and/or acupuncture treatment.  Usually acupuncture is done on the ear with painless, needless laser or micro-stim.

After your treatment is completed the doctor will explain what he has done and answer any questions you may have.  Finally, you will go back up to the front desk where you will be greeted with a smile and your next visit will be scheduled.
