Regular Visits

A typical office visit takes about ten to forty minutes depending on you therapy.  You will come in, be greeted with a smile and taken back to therapy.  You usually do not need to disrobe.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

You will enjoy a very relaxing therapy session that includes treatments like intersegmental traction, moist heat, electric stimulation, ultrasound, therapeutic massage or myofascial release and sometimes you will be instructed and guided in the performance of specific exercises.  You will then go back to the doctor's office for your chiropractic adjustment and auriculotherapy acupuncture.  The doctor will answer any of your questions and then you will be released to the front desk where you can schedule your next appointment.

Dr. K Asks some important questions of interest to Herndon residents - Chiropractor Herndon Dr. K Asks...

What causes subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Herndon parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
