When you book an appointment with Herndon Chiropractic & Acupuncture Care, we’ll send you a unique, secure link to complete our new patient paperwork. If you are unable to complete the forms online, we ask that you come in a few minutes early for your appointment.
Your First Visit
When you enter our beautiful, modern space, Dr. Gurutrang will greet you himself. He’ll bring you back and sit down with you to discuss your health history in detail. Then he’ll conduct a thorough examination, which will include a variety of high-tech diagnostic and measuring assessments.
Your First Adjustment
He may refer you for X-rays or an MRI, if that’s warranted. We use an imaging center only about one minute away. In some cases, Dr. Gurutrang will do a pain-relief adjustment at this visit. He explains this adjustment is like a bandage and is designed to help keep you more comfortable until your care plan begins at your next visit. Because your evaluation depends on your specific condition and issues, the length of the first visit can vary from 30 minutes to one hour.
Your Second Visit
Before your second visit, Dr. Gurutrang will study your exam results and imaging to create a customized care plan to help you meet your goals. When you come in, he will go over all your scans and imaging with you, explain what’s going on and how chiropractic care may help. He’ll detail his recommendations for care, schedule your appointments, and begin your care plan.
This visit is also tailored to your unique situation, so the length varies between 30 minutes and an hour.
